Office of Community Engagement
The Office of Community Engagement (OCE) promotes the education of students through engaged citizenship, including participation in their communities and social responsibility. The programs and efforts made available through the OCE promote an atmosphere of learning and critical reflection by providing students opportunities for civic participation, volunteerism, awareness, advocacy, and community involvement. In doing so, the OCE supports collaboration between the College and the larger community for a mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity. The OCE streamlines and strengthen these opportunities at Washington & Jefferson College for students, faculty, staff, and community representatives.
